About Truelight Church
Truelight Church was planted by Ratna Raju and Nirmala on Easter day, 1993. The Church started with 3 families in a living room and now it grew to about 150- 200 members and 4 mission locations. The first location is our roof top Church and the other 4 mission locations started one by one in the course of 20 years in rural villages. The first location runs the mission and funds the ministry of the 4 mission locations.
Our Vision
The vision of True Light Church is from Ezekiel 38: 7, "Be prepared and get yourselves ready, you and all your company who have been mobilized around you; you will be their guard". And so the Vision of our church is to- Be prepared and prepare a company, and be their guard as our Lord is coming back. We want to accomplish that by being a light in the midst of darkness, by sharing the message of the truelight who is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our Pastors
Daniel and Divya are engineers turned Pastors captured by Gods Love and dedicated their lives to serve God full-time. Daniel is dedicated to God’s Work before he was born, by his parents, and he believes he is born for this. Daniel trained with Alphacrucis College and Morling College, and worked as a Student Pastor at Carlton Kogarah Baptist Church, in Sydney, Australia. Divya dedicated her life to serve God fulltime, and she is passionate about women and Children's Ministry. They both live in Vizag, India.
What we Believe
God: God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
Jesus Christ: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sin of the whole world by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth someday to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Holy Spirit: Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right, so as Christians we seek to live under His control daily.
Man: Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Man chose to disobey God and became a slave of "sin." Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.
Bible: Bible is God's Word to us written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs about living and helpful for reproof and correction.
Eternity: Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.
Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to man received only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. Any amount of man’s ‘Good works’ can never earn God’s Salvation. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.
Baptism: Baptism is symbolic of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. Once we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, baptism is a way for us to publicly declare our new life in Christ. It is also a step of obedience based on God’s commands and allows us to follow the example of Jesus, who submitted himself to baptism to "fulfill all righteousness."
